Midnight City

Bright as day, dark as night, It's sad that I didn't keep you in my best sight.

You were always my temporary city, which I hope to reap all your goodness and leave to a place which I can't call my own. I never spend more than 10 weekends in a year with you, and yet I am here for the 260 weekdays chocking on your congestion. After 7 years, I didn't know that the best roast pork is hidden in the heart of Pudu. That the best butter chicken masala was behind my gym in Brickfields all these while. That in One Utama, lies hidden a "tai chow" place that may soon be my favourite.
Kuala Lumpur, thanks for sending me someone who can guide me to love this city. That there is hope in this mad place, as long as I look at the right places, with the right lenses, with the right state of mind and with the heart full.
Kuala Lumpur, it's not your fault that you didn't get the attention you deserve. Things will change now, as I am guided with love to embrace you. If I am strong, I can succeed anywhere. And if I can make it here, I can make it anywhere.
